How often do use your Notes app on your Apple device? Maybe you’ll use it more if you knew about the new amazing features. Continue reading to learn about the new features that could make your life a whole lot easier! 1. Create a checklist To create a checklist, click the circled check mark at the bottom right. After the circled check mark is selected, a blank circle will pop up and a spot to label the task. You can make your checklist as long as you want and can check off tasks when you're done with them. 2. Sketch Sketch in Notes just like in Notability. To do so, tap the circled marker. Then, choose between the pencil, marker, or pen to make the sketch. Once your sketch is finished select done. To erase mistakes, click the eraser and erase away. There is also an undo option if too much is erased. 3. Scan a Document Scanning a document can be used when you are given paperwork, but you don’t want to keep a paper copy. Once you scan the document it’ll save directly in our Notes app. So to scan a document, tap the circled plus sign and then click on scan documents. Next, it’ll have you scan the document with your camera. You can manually scan it or your device can automatically scan it. After that, you will drag the corners so you can adjust the scan. This will help you make it fit the page. Then, click Keep Scan. You can add more scans to your document or if you are only scanning a single page document tap save. You can also sign your document or you can manually add your signature. To do so, tap the box with the arrow then tap Markup. If you choose to manually sign your document you can choose the tool you would like to use and sign it. If you would like to add your signature so it looks neater and more professional than drawing on your device, tap the plus sign and then tap your signature. Or maybe you want to work on something together, make it easier by working on it together in one document. Simply click on the human silhouette in the circle at the top left of the screen. Then, choose how you would like to send the document. Easy! 5. Turn a Website into a PDF Say you won’t have wifi somewhere, but you want to do homework or research just turn the webpage into a PDF using notes. First, go to the website or webpage that you would like to save. Then click the box with the arrow at the top left corner of the screen and after that, you’ll want to click create PDF. Once you clicked create PDF, it’ll bring you to a new page and you’ll click the box with the arrow again. It’ll show you multiple places to send the PDF and you’ll want to send it to notes. If notes do not show as an option, click the more option and turn on notes.
